Delete your account and data

This page explains how to request deletion of your TruckThrust account and the data associated with it. TruckThrust is operated by Kaaal Int Lda.

How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and data in two ways:

• In the app — open TruckThrust and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm.
• By email — email samson@kaaal.eu from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we proceed.

Once we have verified your request, we permanently delete your account and personal data within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and account details (name, email, phone, role).
• Driver and compliance logs tied to you (subject to the legal retention below).
• Location and route history.
• Documents, photos, and driver-journal entries you created.
• Device and usage data associated with your account.

What we keep, and for how long

Some records must be retained to meet EU and national transport and accounting law — for example driving-time and tachograph records and transport documents such as CMR. We stop using these for any other purpose, isolate them, and delete them once their statutory retention period ends (typically between 1 and 10 years depending on the record type and country).

If your account was created by your employer (a haulage operator), they are the controller of your operational data; we will coordinate your deletion request with them.
